REGARDING PORTLAND In early 2006 we stopped making updates to ICOC Info, in view of Disciples Today taking on the tasks of maintaining the church directory, events lists, and other pages we'd regularly maintained. Our church directory has slowly become out-of-date in all the normal ways--phone numbers change, links go dead--and in one quite significant way: the leaders of the most prominent churches in our fellowship ended their association with Kip McKean and the Portland church he leads. Later, Portland itself formally announced the separation of its affiliated churches from the International Churches of Christ.
